The majority of the vintage artwork I try to record is often the more obscure stuff, local Australian and NZ stuff, stuff that is in danger of being lost for good.Īs someone with a love of art, design and vintage bikes, the artwork from 70s, 80s and 90s frames just has something about appeals to me and sparks that warmth of nostalgia – from the aesthetically brilliant to the budget and visually unbalanced, it all just makes me smile. From that point on the collection of decal sets I’ve traced and catalogued for posterity, has been steadily growing. ![]() I first began tracing and drawing up vector artwork for bike decals when I was restoring a 1985 Team Hotfoot back in 2011.
